Home & School Association

Our Home & School Association is an organization comprised of parents whose children attend ABVM School. This is strictly a volunteer organization. It is not just the members of the Home & School Board or people on committees, but ALL of the parents of the children of ABVM School collectively working together for the good of our children.

Together we are accomplishing great things!

Vision and Objectives

The ABVM Home and School Association strives to be an organization that is responsive to the needs of the school through constant attentiveness to change in the educational environment. We seek to be accessible to all ABVM School families and develop strategies to enhance parent participation.

We all care about our children and their education; we all care about the school and its faculty...and ABVM School can be, and should be, an extension of our own families.

The object of the ABVM Home & School Association is the advancement of the total spiritual growth of families, as evidenced by Catholic education, and the overall well-being of all children of ABVM School.

The ABVM Home & School Association shall attempt to enhance the parents' and teachers' role in the education of the children by increasing their knowledge of education and its processes, by fostering their mutual understanding of children, and also by providing an opportunity for parents and teachers to work together for the good of the children.

The ABVM Home & School Association shall promote parent-school activities and increase among its members interest in education and civic affairs.

Finally, the ABVM Home & School Association shall attempt to acquaint the Parish, as well as the entire local community, with the financial commitment needed for the Catholic school submission.
